You need some time to adjust to learning English - don’t worry! Always attend class and participate 100% If you don’t understand something - tell your teacher If you are not confident about something you are learning - ask your teacher for some extra exercises Always do your homework and review your lessons and information each day Read lots of books (you can borrow them from us) and watch TV and listen to the radio every day Start and keep a special vocabulary notebook - English has lots of words and expressions! Make friends with students who do not speak your language so that you speak English Speak as much as possible with English people - especially your host family Learn about culture, history and facts when you go on visitsYou are responsible for your learning together with your teachers
