As a team of people we come from different backgrounds.

As a team we originally come from different countries, religious backgrounds, ethnic origins and diverse lifestyles.

We work as a team but individually we are:

	Riad Touah Founder and owner. A man of many talents. Riad speaks English, French, and Berber  – all as mother tongue. How many schools have someone who knows so many languages – and so well? Riad is a black belt karate expert and is seriously good at the game of “pool”. Why not challenge him to a game of pool when you study with us?
	Karen Touah Karen is co-founder and owner. She is the Director of Studies. Karen is English and has studied Japanese, French, Italian and is now learning Spanish. Karen is a mother and fantastic teacher and leader. She is always inventing new courses and learning methods to make your learning fun and enjoyable. She is also a “quad bike” enthusiast and a yoga lover!
	Katherine Duncan Katherine loves working at AES - she particularly loves chatting to all the students.  Katherine works in the office and answers all your enquiries.  If you have any problems she's always willing to help.  She is also a qualified CELTA teacher so she sometimes wows a class or two!
	Eliana Quraishi Eliana looks after your health, welfare and accommodation. She is originally from Italy and still loves her home country. She has lived in Folkestone for about 15 years. She loves it here too! Eliana makes sure you have the right accommodation and family to suit your needs and interests.
	Teachers All our teachers are suitably qualified. But what makes them special is how they really look after you here at school. They love teaching and learning – and they only want to help you learn as much English as quickly as possible. They are all experts on the “fun you can have in Folkestone”.
